Application

Step 1: Prepare nails

Gently push back the cuticles, file the nails and lightly roughen with the buffer. Then clean thoroughly with the cleaning cloth.

Step 2: Choose the right size

Press the press-ons onto the nail to test them and, if necessary, file the edges for a perfect fit.

Step 3: Glueing & fixing

Stick the adhesive sticker onto the nail, remove the protective film and place the press-ons at a 45° angle. Press on firmly for 60 seconds - done!

Removal

Step 1: Apply remover oil

Apply the remover oil around the edges of the nail, massage it in well, and gently lift the edges of the Press Ons using the rosewood stick.

Step 2: Soak nails

Prepare a warm hand soak with 1–2 droppers of remover oil, soap, and optionally remover liquid. Soak your nails for about 10 minutes and gently lift the Press Ons from time to time using a rosewood stick.

Step 3: Clean and store the press-ons

Carefully roll off and remove any adhesive residue from the center using a rosewood stick. Then sort the press-ons so that they can be reused next time.

Step 4: Clean & care for natural nails

Gently remove any adhesive residue from the natural nail with a buffer or a cotton ball soaked in remover. Finally, apply hand cream and nail serum for extra care.

How long do the press-ons last?

If you use the adhesive stickers provided, the press-ons will usually last around 5-7 days.

If you stick them on with the Doonails nail glue, they will last for approx. 14 days.

The durability always depends on the individual application and the stress on the nails.

How often can I reuse the Press Ons?

If you use the adhesive stickers provided, you can reuse them until they no longer look nice to you. However, before reusing them, make sure that no adhesive residue remains on the underside.

If you attach your press-ons with nail glue, you will most likely only be able to use them once, as a remover is required to remove them, which will probably change the appearance of your press-ons. In addition, the adhesive residue on the underside is very difficult to remove.

Can I care for my nails as usual after application?

If you work with the adhesive stickers, we recommend that you do not use nail oil or creams, as this can have a negative effect on the durability.

If you use nail glue, you can care for your cuticles as usual, but if your order is already in the packing or shipping process, unfortunately it cannot be cancelled, nor can you change your address.

Are the stickers also available to buy individually?

Yes, you can also order our adhesive stickers individually in the shop. One pack contains 180 stickers in 15 different sizes.

I have an allergy to gel and Shellac. Are the Soft Gel Press Ons suitable for me?

No need to worry. Our Soft Gel Press Ons are made from an innovative gel formula and contain neither HEMA nor DI-HEMA. They are also free from benzoyl peroxide, which can often cause skin irritation and allergies.

If you use them with the enclosed adhesive stickers, they are the ideal choice for allergy sufferers!

Is there a suitable size for me?

I was skeptical. I have very good nails but don’t take the time to make them look nice. These look very nice-easy to follow directions-no issues with lifting etc. I use the adhesive tabs. Easy to get off and to reapply. Loving these but would like more in extra short!

All the nails from doonails are amazing

All the nails from doonails are amazing. They the last until I remove them and they stay shiny and pretty. My nails have been damaged from all the acrylics and a gel nail polish and now they are finally healthy. Sometimes I just take everything off and keep it like that for a couple days and then I choose a pretty new color to put on. It has taken all the stress off from having nice manicured nails which is something that is important to me.

These are far superior to the couple of press on nail brands I’d tried. The stickers work better than nail glue and are so much less harsh. My nails are finally recovering!

Perfection!

I am totally in love and obsessed. No more paying for manicures for me! This is the way to go hands-down (no pun intended). Extra short is the right size for me, I am a Physical Therapist and use my hands for everything! They have held up through hand washing, hands on patient treatments, and at home caring for my 6 and 2 year old, opening cans of seltzer, unbuckling car seats, and even coaching softball! These things didn’t budge! I used the adhesive tabs for those wondering. Haven’t taken them off yet. Attached picture is Day 5 and they are still going strong!

Things to make application easier from my experience:
1. Figure out what sizes you need for each finger first and lay them out.
2. When you put them on, work from your pinkies to your thumbs. We use our thumbs and index fingers the most so doing them last made things so much easier.
3. Tab application: either put them all on or start from the pinkies and work to the thumbs. Smooth them down and leave them on for a minute or so to let the glue adhere to your nail before trying to peel off the other side.
4. Make sure you hold each nail down for a minute to really let it adhere.

Suggestions for the future to the owners/designers:
1. More designs/options for the extra short length
2. Consider an extra extra short length. We people that use our hands while treating patients like to have shorter groomed nails so when we don’t cut into our patients with our nails. The extra short length is much better than the short, but slightly shorter would be amazing!

I am amazed at these nails. Using the stickers, they last at least 10 days without coming loose at all! (I only changed them for a color change!) I wash dishes (no gloves), shower, wash my hair, and do all the normal daily things and they dont budge But the feel and look so natural!
